Service Description: After more than 50 years since streetcars last serviced the streets of Washington, DC, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is bringing them back. Launching in February 2016, DC Streetcar will facilitate travel for District residents, workers and visitors by complementing existing transit options and by creating neighborhood connections where they currently do not exist.
