<stepDesc>The QA/QC process is based on a FastGate Mobile application configured for use on the Severn Construction Services streetlight inventory project. FastGate Mobile data collection software is programmed in such a way as to reduce the potential for error. The mobile software will contain verification routines to support the accurate and complete collection of data. These validations and quality control tools are programmed into FastGate Mobile to alert technicians of data collection rule violations during collection and to provide an environment for objective field quality assurance after collection. In order to achieve high levels of data accuracy, Osmose has developed a controlled QA/QC process that uses the same FastGate Mobile technology and project specific data model in a separate quality control mode.
